Frank Nunan is a journalist and editor by profession who began his publishing facilitation business, offering proofreading, editing and self-publishing services to Catholic authors after his semi-retirement in 2013. He is also an author in his own right.
Bob Deans spent the vast majority of his life in The Meat Game, from helping with deliveries for his father's butcher shop in Arbroath, Scotland, to owning and running "Sensational Sausages" in Orakei, Auckland, via Canada and Australia.
The autobiographical "The Great New Zealand Sausage Trail and Other Meaty Stories" is his first attempt at writing, but he now has the bug and is embarking on writing fictional short stories.
Barry Luckman (Poppa Barry) comes from a family of seven siblings - four brothers and two sisters. When he was a youngster, his father worked on the hydro dams down the Waikato River, and he was born in the small township of Karapiro.
He went on to attend Tauranga Boys College, followed by an apprenticeship in diesel mechanics with the Ministry of Works.
As a young man, Barry developed a love of the outdoors and for its wildlife.
To help put food on the table, he took up hunting as a sport.
Wildlife, be it indigenous or exotic, and the bush were, and still are, his passions.
He is married to Dalwyn and has two children, daughter Shani, and son Haydn.
He’s now in his 80s, and this is a time of reflection.
